2014 PGA Championship launches hospitality sales

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Corporate hospitality packages are now on sale for the 96th PGA Championship, to be contested at Valhalla Golf Club Aug. 4-10, 2014. To celebrate the launch of corporate sales, The PGA of America is offering a one-time, 5-percent discount for all purchases made by Feb. 28. 
As the only authorized seller of on-site hospitality at the 2014 PGA Championship, The PGA of America has created unique hospitality experiences at various price points for companies of all sizes. Packages are available to accommodate anywhere from 10-100 guests per day and allow for a premium all-inclusive experience that includes on-course hospitality, parking, food, beverages and alcohol.

"This is a unique opportunity for companies to appreciate current customers and entertain new prospects, while witnessing the greatest golfers in the world compete for a major championship," said Larry Sinclair, director of corporate hospitality sales for PGA of America. "Our corporate hospitality packages create a memorable experience that will resonate with your guests for years to come." 
A limited number of private chalets are available for 50 or 100 guests and will be located along the 17th hole. Additionally, three premium chalets overlooking Valhalla's signature 13th hole have been introduced for 2014. All chalets offer a private entertainment venue with all the comforts of a traditional suite at a sports venue, including flat-screen televisions, custom décor, access to executive bathrooms and air-conditioning. 
Thirty-guest executive suites located on the 17th tee combine a reserved, private entertainment area with a shared social space with buffet and bar. Ten-guest Champions Club reserved tables are also located along the 17th tee in an exclusive, climate-controlled pavilion ideal for entertaining smaller groups or networking with other CEO's. All packages include tickets, corporate parking, food and open bar.  
"Based on initial interest from local and national companies, and the corporate sales success we have had at recent PGA Championships and  Valhalla, we expect a strong sales response," said championship director Brett Sterba. "In an effort to ensure all hospitality venues are in optimal locations, we have limited the total number of units we are offering."
 The PGA of America is the only source to offer official hospitality packages on the event grounds at Valhalla Golf Club.
